Mark Ackary is an independent writer and consultant on large-scale energy technology and on growth-only-when-it’s-needed economics.  He lives in London, England, United Kingdom.

He was formerly economic policy adviser for the Green Party. He has been also a political press and communications officer, a speaker against nuclear power for Friends of the Earth and a campaigner against unemployment. He currently volunteers doing public relations work for a cancer charity. He worked for nine years as an NHS performance manager. His past career includes working for a Japanese manufacturing company.
